Hit Immersive Christmas Carol Experience Returns with Victorian Feast, Theatre, Cocktails and Live Music
The Lost Estate’s critically-acclaimed, immersive theatre and dining experience, A Christmas Carol: The Great Christmas Feast is back, following six sold out years in a row.
Guests will be transported to the home of Charles Dickens on Christmas Eve 1843, for three courses of extravagant Victorian feasts, while watching an immersive retelling of the ultimate festive ghost story, with cinematic live music and 5000sq ft of sets constructed by legendary immersive designers Darling & Edge (Gingerline, Secret Cinema, Crystal Maze).
The immersive entertainment juggernaut runs from 8 November to 12 January in West Kensington, bringing together London’s leading talents in theatre, music, mixology and fine dining to create a one-of-a-kind immersive experience, which has become one of the most in-demand attractions of the Christmas calendar.
Acclaimed director Simon Pittman (Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre) returns for his third Christmas in a row, with Alex Phelps reprising his role as narrator Charles Dickens and other characters, following rave reviews last year.
The 2024 menu, devised by Executive Chef, Ashley Clarke (Gordon Ramsay Group, SmokeStak), is the culmination of years of Victorian feasting refined into one exceptional Christmas menu.
For the starter, Clarke presents a pressing of corn fed chicken, with pickled beets and samphire relish. Next, an elegant confit Gressingham duck breast with all the trimmings. Finally, a rich Twelfth Night Cake accompanied by Christmas Pudding ice cream. Vegetarian and vegan options are available and the menus will be announced soon.
Mr Dickens’ personal cellar is open to all, with a Victorian cocktail menu that includes the Smoking Bishop and the Pear Tree Cup.
It is guaranteed to fill even the biggest Scrooge with every kind of Christmas spirit.
