Put your hand into the popcorn and not your pocket, with a Summer of free, waterside cinema by the Regent’s Canal in King’s Cross, or the Grand Union Canal in Brentford.

From 1 July, you don't have to choose between sunshine or movies, because Everyman invites you to its free, annual outdoor film and TV festival, Everyman on the Canal, and for the first time it will also introduce Everyman on the Water at The Brentford Project.

The film line-up is set to include Barbie, Bob Marley One Love, The Little Mermaid (2023), The Lord of The Rings trilogy, Aftersun, Dune II, 10 Things I Hate About You, alongside screenings of the Wimbledon Tennis Championship.

Both outdoor cinemas are un-ticketed with limited audience numbers, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Everyman on the Canal will return to the iconic Canal Side Steps on the banks of the Regent’s Canal, this time for an extended season from 1 July to 18 August. Audiences can recline on bean bags on the grass steps, while enjoying the big screen.

Films and screenings will run throughout the day and every evening between 11.30am to 10pm, complete with sweet treats and savoury snacks from Everyman’s food menu, paired with a drink or two from the range of summer cocktails, wine, beer and soft drinks.

Their newest free, outdoor cinema experience, Everyman on the Water at The Brentford Project will run from 1 July to 31 August.

Brentford guests can enjoy al fresco ice creams and drinks served with a range of food goodies from The Brentford Project.

The event will give locals a taste of Everyman, before their permanent Brentford cinema launches in 2025.
